This weekend I had the pleasure of a lovely brunch at Pont St Belgravia with Plenish Juices and their new January Juice menu. If anyone follows my instagram I am obsessed with a great brunch and food photo so it’s really exciting to share more of this with you via my blog.
I’m constantly in search for new brunch places around town, and this one was certainly one to keep on the list of regulars. Set in the lovely Belgraves Thompson Hotel in Belgravia (London) it has the perfect ambiance for a relaxed weekend meal with friends. I’m on a bit of a ‘health bender’ at the moment (or at least giving it a go as I’m sure most of us are), but unfortunately my Sunday mornings usually consist of a starving stomach after a late night and highly likely hangover.
As much as I try dieting in the form of healthy eating I’m also a big believer of balance, and his place has just that. At the moment the executive chef Sophie Michell at Belgraves has teamed up with Kara Rosen, founder of Plenish Juice, to provide nutritious dishes that perfectly complement fresh juices for the January Juice menu. I went for the lovely salmon kegeree with a poached egg on top – delicious and great with the Plenish Green Boost Juice to kick start a Sunday morning.
Because it was one of those Sundays, we also got the perfect avocado on rye bread with poached eggs along with quite possibly the best grilled cheese sandwich I have ever seen and consumed (with company of course). Hence why this place is at the top of my list for brunches to share with friends or family with different preferences when it comes to healthy and greasy (amazing) eating. They have it all. Definitely – go.
Special thanks to Pont St Belgravia at The Thompson.
