I’m obsessing over this blushy pink colour recently. I’m wanting it on my bedsheets, my sofa, my tiles in my bathroom and accenting elements of my wardrobe. When I picked up this trench in the Mango sale last week I struck gold, well blush pink. The colourblind might argue with me over the description of this colour but the truth is there is lots of different versions of it, which brands like Farrow and Ball and Chanel makeup at some point in their colour palette.
I do love colour in my wardrobe however I like to style it discreetly and give it it’s own stage, like this jacket for example. The colour is so alluring the rest is great as it is, with some Levis straight legged jeans, your favourite white t-shirt and some espadrilles, after all it is supposed to be summer!
For me trench coats are underrated. This one isn’t particularly designed to shelter you from the rain or keep you warm, making it a great – for-the-sake-of-it piece to throw over when you are out in the city or going to a less informal meeting. Hence in this case why not make it pink! Full outfit details below. x
