Chinti and Parker Heart Skirt SS16 KavitaCola 2

It’s rare I venture out of my fashion comfort zone and wear a longer skirt. I honestly find them quite tricky to style up without looking like lamb dressed as mutton, or just feeling drowned out because of my height (not that tall). But when I do find that perfect length (with a little bit of swish) in a skirt, I will wear it out.

On of my favourite brands usually for cashmere Chinti and Parker has changed it’s tone slightly this season. In keeping with their carefully curated quirks, there is a little love heart motif situation running, but this time on a lovely over the knee skirt. Of course the material like all their cashmere, is of the softest kind of cotton which is always a pleasure against bare legs.

This skirt has so much potential to dress up for a lovely summer day event or even the evening, but I have gone casual this time (obviously) by teaming it up with some sturdy black wear-with-everything boots from Zara (although similar available here), a plain black comfortable t-shirt and my staple soft leather jacket from Topshop.
