I have been waiting to blog about this brand ever since I started my site! Bedouin Studios is the now fully flourished brand of a friend and fellow Central Saint Martins graduate Andraya Farag. It’s honestly amazing to witness at first hand, an idea of a friend of yours over dinner, to the outcome of an amazing easy to wear collection of beautifully made dresses, tops and jackets. Go Andraya!
After studying fashion design in London and starting the brand intending to be for free thinking women with fast pace lives, she seems to have nailed this element, as every piece of detailing that speaks for itself whilst remaining wearable and chic. Magazines from Elle, Harpers Bazaar and Glamour magazine has featured Bedouin Studios. Whilst being more widely known in the middle eastern realm of retail it’s certainly a force to be reckoned with, here on the London scene.
This particular silk dress ticks all my favourite boxes of being: effortless, comfortable, cool and chic. It’s something I would wear to a summer soirée or evening drinks finished off to look casual with a leather jacket. It is slightly lower on the neckline for my usual self, so I kept it more casual with low sandal heels from Mango, a leather jacket and my hair not-too-perfect, as the dress does all the work itself.
