It’s not often I come across one piece wonders like these, and when I do I will wear them out completely. This particularly snug pair of dungarees with a little black tank does the job for me, intentionally feeling no need to over style it because I think it speaks for itself. It has that whole 90s element to it which is what I love and at the same time can be worn from day until night. This is in fact exactly what I did.

Starting the lovely morning at a barbeque at a friends where I was wearing it with a white t-shirt and flat sandals, later in the evening I slung on a favourite pair of Isabel Marant black suede boots, to give me more of a presentable party posture as always. It was really easy to warm it up too with a customary cashmere, of course looking like you’re wearing a nice pair of jeans so when you take it off you get the whole… ‘well hello’ effect.

I am working on the attempt to vary tonal colouring with black however it’s hard to often feel the need. Simplicity is bliss. To accessorize I have thrown in my favourite punchy pair of tortoiseshell Miu Miu sunnies, a soft suede and handmade clutch from La Portegna and a precious stone purchase from Monica Vinader. Further outfit details below. Hope you had a lovely bank holiday!
