Don’t you just love those dreamy mornings when all you have on the list is to waltz around in a floaty dress to your local vegetable stand to buy your fresh fruit and veg for the week? As much as I wish I could be that person every day, the few rare glimpses of summer sun in London just don’t allow it. Doing as a typical brit would do, I’m jumping on the summer bandwagon and doing my own version of Spring perfection outfitting with a few new selects from the shops right now.
A few new members of the crew come in the shape of a cat-eye – these sunglasses which I’m totally obsessed with. Be prepared to see them in posts over and over again. I have come to the understanding that when I love something I just roll with it, because something else will for SURE come along and take it’s place. I actually love how cat eye sunnies have come back in many different shapes and forms because I have a narrow and have a smaller range of huge sunglasses that I can wear without looking like a total bug eye.
The dress in yellow, I hope is a small teaser of a new wardrobe staple thats about to be a part of my wardrobe in the masses. Long floaty dresses are really just the easiest thing to wear and although here I have styled it up with some of my Gianvito Rossi booties from the past, it can be casually worn with a pair of Vans or Converse if you want to keep it casual. The bag… Another JW Anderson obsession, and yes it’s pierced too. If you are planning a splurge this summer on a bag and do want to mix it up slightly – BUY THIS ONE. I honestly think it’s a style that’s going to prevail for a while as it has something so unique, cool yet classic about it. It’s also the perfect size for a phone, a small iPad, a bunch of makeup, your keys and a charger which is just about all one needs for a grocery visit. I hope you’re all enjoying the sun. x
