Even as someone of Indian origin, there is always a minor element of anxiety to whipping off my kit immediately when the summer months kick in. Having been hibernating under jeans, my skin lacks life, luster and little scars and hair follicles tend to be visible. Of course the hair situation has hugely decreased thanks to my Philips Lumea (a few blogs posts ago) however I still need a little something to get my skin prepped to confidence.
I recently came across an amazing natural coffee based body scrub by Scrub Love which targets cellulite, stretch marks, acne, psoriasis, eczema and scarring, which I definitely need to use more often. I think coffee used in beauty products are interesting as they have an awakening effect from the outside which excites your skin to glow. Also anything that is naturally based is singing to my ears! I used it during a soak in the bath which left my skin feeling soft and supple and my mind uplifted indulgence with some of my favourite beauty bits and bobs from Aerin, Aesop and Cowshed. I love a bath but it’s hard to sometimes find the time and mind space to have one – I need to start making this my Sunday night ritual.
