Always after a staple me… usually in the form of a neutral colour and often a denim. During this season when the coats are being slowly ditched, it’s the perfect time to spruce up my wardrobe a bit with some ‘for-the-sake-of -it’ layers. I picked up this pretty little denim jacket straight off the high street. I love it’s boxy 80s fit and embroidered detailing which were reminiscent of all things a bit Indian. It’s a perfect in between jacket to throw onto a long or short dress, a smart pair of trousers or even a double denim vibe. I’m rarely one to wear things that are really tight fitting all over but I had a small obsession with this dress when I tried it in the Isabel Marant shop recently and could see myself wearing it loads in the summertime. I’m still not entirely ready to go full pelt with the body con look so a jacket like this is perfect to cover up but to slink off the shoulders too.
I’m utterly obsessed with these cat eye Gucci sunglasses at the moment. Get used to seeing them over and over and over. Red lips are my vice to spice up a dark and monotoned look. The Lips and Boys series of lipsticks from Tom Ford have nailed it. This shade is called Rafael and is available to buy at Selfridges right now. Sorry not sorry… all outfit deets below. x
